Warm Weather Shipping Policy – Please read carefully!
During the hot summer months, The Online Candy Shop strongly recommends that all meltable candy items be shipped via an expedited shipping method. Expedited orders (2 day air or overnight) will be packed with reusable ice packs and insulation at no additional charge. The Online Candy Shop is not responsible for damage of meltable items during shipping, unless an expedited shipping method is chosen. The Online Candy Shop cannot accept returns for chocolate during hot summer months. The Online Candy Shop reserves the right to cancel orders if the correct shipping method is not chosen for meltable items. It will be The Online Candy Shop’s discretion to contact customers by email or phone to notify them of such cancellations. To limit the amount of heat damage, The Online Candy Shop will ship all perishable items Monday – Thursday, and all orders placed on Thursday evening through Sunday will be shipped out on Monday or Tuesday.
If you are dissatisfied with your order for any reason other than the above mentioned hot weather shipping policy, The Online Candy Shop will refund the cost of all merchandise that is received in unopened and undamaged condition, less a 15% RESTOCKING FEE. Please note that all returns or exchanges must be approved and authorized prior to their return to The Online Candy Shop. Refunds or exchanges will only be honored for items returned within seven business days of the purchase date. Refunds for items returned more than seven business days after the purchase date will be in the form of a credit redeemable on your next purchase. The original shipping and handling charges are not refundable.
There are no returns on Seasonal merchandise (Halloween, Christmas, etc.).
